An animation short for my final. This was inspired by my own morning routine I had with my grandparent when I needed to catch the bus for school. My Cheii (grandpa) always made sure I catch the bus no matter what.
In the summer of 2023, I had the amazing opportunity to intern at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon where I was under the Jordan Brand.
During my internship, I had two months to complete a project. I had to use my skills as a storyteller and a 3D animator to create a 30-second short to show the abilities of what the 3D can do.
Leaps of Faith used various 3D tools such as Modo, Substance Paint, and Unreal Engine. The short showcases a short history of the leaps of history of how the Jorand brand came to be at Nike shown through the shoes themselves. As well as a short tribute to the many different sounds of a shoe is made.
During my Internship, I also documented the behind-the-scenes look at how I was able to make my short film.
I graduated from the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Cinematic Arts & Technology and a minor in Interactive Arts & Game Design. Recently, I was accepted to the Savannah College of Arts & Design, where I am pursuing my Master's in Animation.
A showcase of what I have worked on in my first quarter at SCAD online.
